Happy Marian’s complete six-year English curriculum is tailor made for elementary school children. Our spiral learning model lays a solid foundation for listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The E System comprises of 12 levels and includes four major approaches: Fundamental English Course, Practical Conversational English, Natural Phonics Pronunciations and Structured Grammar Storybooks.
Happy Marian applies a strict supervision system to all of our classes to monitor each student’s performance: a semester-based appraisal grading system that includes weekly reviews, a mid-term exam, and an end-of-term exam with certificates of accomplishment that recognizes their progress. With our pioneering online learning system, students can play games and take quizzes at home, providing an extra opportunity to review and evaluate their learning results with fun.
Happy Marian emphasizes five foundational factors: Comprehension, Expression, Perception, Creation, and Dynamism to inspire student to reach deeper in knowledge and unlocks the motivation for self-advancement.
Social Studies & Character Development
Character development is an important quality for competitiveness on the international stage. Social Studies in AE Classes allow students to develop self-efficacy in personality and promote dynamic interactions within groups. Students will develop individual emotional and practical skills as well as accurate perception of self and acceptance of others. Through a complete English social learning environment, Happy Marian bridges the gap between different cultures and readies our children to become excellent citizens of the world.
Art and Crafts
By introducing students to different subject areas, Happy Marian aims to cultivate student’s creativity, imagination and extract the potential within them. These activities integrate the vocabulary and sentence patterns they have learned related to the unit’s theme for deeper understanding.
Intriguing scientific experiments allow children to explore in a creative learning environment, establishing critical abilities such as problem-solving and logical thinking, as well as inspiring curiosity and imagination.
Role plays allow students to apply new English vocabulary in action through a fun and exciting environment. Students will be able to strengthen their abilities to express and perform in English through this curriculum session. Group practices and competitions allow students the chance to learn how to interact with each other and cultivate key abilities with proper communication and coordination.
